  39.      This is version 03 which replaces EyeCandy02.

  48.      EyeCandy03 was written by me, Chuck Kenney.  My particulars
  49.      (address, etc.) are included in the user document in the archive.

  51. DESCRIPTION
  52.  
  53.      EyeCandy03 generates various "eye candy" graphics.  Currently these
  54.      are:  "SpiroDraw", "YarnBall", "CircleStar", "RotoBoxes", "RotoAngle"
  55.      and "PolyGen".  All designs have different values that can be changed
  56.      by the user which dictate the final appearance of the designs.

  58.      "SpiroDraw" simulates the SPIROGRAPH(tm?) drawing toy.
  59.      "YarnBall" generates designs that look like balls of yarn.
  60.      "CircleStar" generates designs that look like 3D checkerboard stars.
  61.      "RotoBoxes" generates "spirally, tunnelly" designs using squares.
  62.      "RotoAngle" is a bit like "RotoBoxes" but uses lines and angles.
  63.      "PolyGen" generates "tunnelly" designs using concentric polygons.

  65.      "EyeCandy" Allows the user to specify different values for many of
  66.      the parameters which dictate the sizes and shapes of the designs -
  67.      "Drawing Wheels, Drawing Rings", number of "YarnBall" spokes, sizes
  68.      and angles of change, etc.  There is also a "Random" function for
  69.      each design.  The use of a computer to generate the various SpiroDraw
  70.      and other designs actually enhances some of the capabilities!
  71.      "EyeCandy02" is all mouse-driven (MENUs, GADGETs, etc.).
  72.      It is a fun _and_ addictive program!  .. but I'm biased, of course!

  74.      EyeCandy03.lha also contains a very nice little freely distributable
  75.      "screen-to-IFF" saver utility by Preben Nielsen (thanks, Preben) so
  76.      that "EyeCandy" designs can be imported into and animated with
  77.      "paint" programs.

  79.      "EyeCandy" is shareware but does not nag the user in any way (except
  80.      if the user selects the "About" MENU item) and all features are fully
  81.      functional.

  83. NEW FEATURES
  84.  
  85.      The major new enhancement is that EyeCandy can now accommodate
  86.      font-sizes up to 15 (though 13 is the practical limit).

  88.      A bug in the SpiroDraw "Set Data..." function, "In/Out" was fixed.

  90.      User Selection of SCREEN resolution has been moved from a selection
  91.      window into the main "Preferences" MENU.

  93.      EyeCandy03 has also been compiled under a new version of the compiler,
  94.      "ACE" by David Benn, which enabled further enhancement and enjoyment
  95.      of the user-interface in terms of look, feel and functionality.

  99.      There are no special requirements that I know of.
  100.      EyeCandy03 has been tested on an Amiga 2000HD (OS 2.1)
  101.      and an Amiga 1000 (OS 1.3).

  105.      EyeCandy03.lha has been uploaded to the AMINET site,
  106.      ftp.etsu.edu (192.43.199.20) and is also available on
  107.      all other AMINET sites.

  120.      The asking shareware price is the amount sent to me by my first
  121.      shareware contributor to SpiroDraw, EyeCandy's predecessor.
  122.      This requested shareware fee is $5.00 (US), in the hope that
  123.      many little sharewares will add up to more than a few bigger ones!

  125. DISTRIBUTABILITY

  127.      This program is freely distributable as long as the documentation
  128.      accompanies the program but is a copyrighted (1994) shareware
  129.      program by me, Chuck Kenney.  If this program is included in any
  130.      CD-ROM collection, I ask that a copy of the CD-ROM be sent to me.

  134.      EyeCandy03, and other programs in progress are coming out of my
  135.      basement as a result of the availability of a truly wonderful
  136.      "BASIC-but-much-more!" compiler, "ACE" by David Benn.  I would
  137.      like to sincerely thank Mr. Benn for renewing my enthusiasm in
  138.      programming and for making it possible for me to make my programs
  139.      available to more than just my friends and immediately family!
